Who Am I?

24 year old James has been club djing for five years.
He plays a fresh blend of funky, vocal UK/US house with a twist of that Balearic vibe. He is not a run of the mill Dj; to keep vanity in his set he is not scared to incorporate scratching, cutting, accapellas, samples and a live vocalist - all things that keep the crowd jumping. James doesn’t just play to the crowd, he immerses himself in the music so that he feels like part of the crowd - this enables him to play what and how the crowd wants. James has played at various venues including top house clubs in Southampton and Bournemouth and his residency for Soul Intention has taken him to many more across the South Coast. But he isn’t just a local boy, the past two years he has been playing in London for Full Soul Records and recently at exclusive clubs such as Turnmills and Heaven for Wildchild. This year has brought James to become a finalist for DJ Mag and Smile (Finals still to come) and has played at The White House and will begin playing at Supreme for Real Retro. The buzz of the crowd is what James thrives on and that coupled with his love for the music keeps him wanting more...
