James a qualified sound engineer(City&Guilds)and resident of Intamix Promotions, one of the southwests leaders in providing the finest nights out available, is one of Cornwalls hottest new talents in the club industry.
Influenced majorly by the likes of Lee Haslam and Alphazone, James's love for uplifting hard trance is growing every day. Through 2003, Intamix Promotions held Loud'n'Proud nights at venues such as The Whitehouse(Penhallow/Newquay)and Club Euphoria(Camborne)where James was widely recognised for his uplifting style that he puts across during his sets, recieving the kind of feedback which has inspired him to keep climbing the ladder and play with the best!
2004 has brought even better opportunities for James and has opened new doors to his inspiration for what he loves, including producing and playing more local venues, with Intamix having a monthly residency at Tall Trees(Newquay)holding Loud'n'Proud nights for James and the other Intamix residents Simon Williams, Ashley Taylor and Laura H. James then battled in the Tall Trees residency DJ competition playing with some fantastic, and different styles of DJ's in his heat. Intamix also have a monthly residency at The Candy Store(Plymouth)which has brought them and James into Cornwalls neighbouring county Devon, for more of the southwest to hear and recognise James's unique style.
James is now booked to play with Guyver@Club Euphoria in July, and Lee Haslam in August where he will be expressing his love for Tidy in the flesh and true colours. September brings Stimulant DJ'S who are bringing their album launch party to the venue, and to James's list of artists he's played along side for his all important CV. This will be a guaranteed bonus to the clubbers who attend, where they will recieve a free sampler CD of the album and various promotional merchandise.
Cornwall College Student Union Bar also have the pleasure of James's weekly appearance starting September via Intamix, where customers who attend will recieve a free copy of James's demo CD.
