Virus Presents The Tidy Boys
Sat 31 Jul 2004, Tall Trees, Newquay
By Feebie

The Tidy Boys - Producers, Frontmen and Mascots of the hard dance label, Tidy – took Tall Trees by storm on Saturday night. With a fast and furious set packed with hard house anthems and future dance floor fillers alike, they whipped the clubbers up into a frenzy as they proved to us once again why the Tidy Boys are still a force to be reckoned with!

With loyal fans flocking from all over the South West, Andy and Amo had the middle floor of Tall Trees literally bursting at the seams by 11pm when they took over from resident Steve Lid on the decks. After their signature introductory mix they launched straight into 2 solid hours of pumping hard house tunes, driving the clubbers wild with classics such as “The Dawn” by Tony de Vit and “Till tears do us part” by Heavens Cry. Hands reached for the air as Amo dropped “Wizards of the Sonic” form Westbam Vs Red Jerry and feet stomped madly to Breathers “Come on”, Lashes “What can u do for me” and many more serious sounds!

Despite a 1am finish to get the boys to Global Gathering, the crowd wasn’t left disappointed! Steve Lid reclaimed the decks and launched seamlessly into a pacey, driving trance set with a rock hard edge that gave the clubbers a whole new lease of life and got them bouncing as if the night had only just begun! Steve said of the night “ it was good, a little slow at the start but by 10ish the place was going strong. The boys were superb and i managed to keep the crowd happy after so all was good!” and he wasn’t wrong! The feedback on the night has been phenomenal and has once again secured the Tidy Boys rightful place at the very top of their respective industry!
