LISA LASHES ROCKED VIRUS FRIDAY 6TH AUGUST 04

Newquay’s Barracuda was host to one of the biggest VIRUS experiences I have seen. Headlining the night, was the worlds no1 female DJ Lisa Lashes. 1500 clubbers crammed themselves into the main arena to dance their tits off.

The atmosphere was unbelievable as the tunes banged out at a constant peak. Everyone was on a colossal high for the full five hours.

Gold Stars went to Virus Resident and legend DJ Ben McGowan who produced an excellent set steering the crowd in the right direction. The crowd went mental when Lisa arrived behind the decks. They surged forward like at a rock concert. Looked quite scary at one point.

Top marks again to Virus for their production and lighting show. The best I have seen in the Southwest. They also sorted the sound out which was spot on. The room was pumping.

Virus attracted a mixture of cyber-kids, raw clubbers, partygoers and the generally insane, all the ingredients to create an upfront crowd, and an unforgettable event.
